Our mission here at FlowerChild is to help people help themselves. By educating people on the benefits of CBD and CBG and creating top-of-the-line hemp products, we seek to generate boundless ripples of positivity, health, and empowerment that can reach all those in need.

Our products come from strains of cannabis that are high in CBD or CBG, which are both non-psychoactive compounds, and extremely low in THC, which is the psychoactive compound that produces a high. Scientists now believe that THC and CBD/CBG work synergistically to create an “entourage” effect and promote the healing process.

The FDA allows us to sell our medicinal hemp extract products online because they fall below the legal limit of 0.3% THC and are therefore non-psychoactive.

FlowerChild Herbal products start as a whole plant extract. We take the flowers and leaves of the plant and extract the compounds using food grade alcohol. The alcohol is then cooked off, leaving a rich, black oil filled with the essence of the plant. All of the terpenes, flavonoids, and healing compounds are retained for optimal potency. This oil extract is added to grape seed oil in varying amounts to give us our different blends.

Our most popular products are our CBG 700 (cannabigerol) tincture, our CBD/CBG Blend, and our CBD 700 (cannabidiol) tincture

At FlowerChild, we constantly get asked the question, "what's the difference between CBD and CBG?"

The simple explanation is that they are different cannabinoids (a cannabinoid is a compound within the hemp/cannabis plant), so they affect the body in different ways. CBD and CBG can assist with a lot of the same conditions, but a general differentiation is that CBD is more effective for physical/bodily disharmony and CBG is more effective for mental/neurological disharmony. For example, CBD and CBG both help alleviate pain and sadness, but CBD is generally more effective against pain and CBG is generally more effective against sadness. “Generally” does not mean always, though! Some customers report that CBG works better for them for pain, and others prefer CBD for sadness. Every individual is different, which is why taking a blend can be a good way to ensure you’re getting the maximum benefits from your medicine.

Together, CBD and CBG make a powerful team against inflammation, mental and physical pain, insomnia, and so much more. Customer feedback suggests that the combination of the two, rather than just CBD or CBG alone, is proving to be a more effective option against anxiety and sadness.

Here's a handy chart for reference on what the difference is between CBG and CBD:
